Crispy Nutri Chaat – By Swati Adhiya
A very healthy, as well great Chai-time buddy that will complement your evening. Make a quick note of the ingredients:-
• Rice Flour• Salt• Spices- Haldi (Turmeric), Mirchi Powder (Chilli Powder), Dhaniya Powder (Coriander Powder)• Milk-Water (Mix)• Oil/Ghee• Moong (Green Gram)• Onion( Chopped)• Tomatoes(Chopped)• Coriander (Chopped)• Sev (For Garnishing)
Soak Moong overnight.
Boil the Moong individually. (About 4-5 Whistles)
Take two cups of rice flour and add salt (To taste). Mix well.
Heat Oil/Ghee in a pan. Once hot, add boiled Moong, salt (To taste), spices and mix well.
Fry for 1-2 minutes.
Add the fried mixture to the bowl of rice flour, and make a dough out of it.
Roll chapati’s with light hands with medium thickness.
Cut the rolled Chapati into small diamond shapes.
Deep fry the diamonds till golden brown and crisp.
Remove on a tissue to strain oil & cool
Once cold, add chopped onions, chopped tomato, and chopped coriander leaves, Mix well.
Garnish with Sev and serve immediately!Your Crispy Nutri Chaat is ready!!!
